カナダの3月の住宅着工件数は予想を下回る。カナダ住宅金融公社(CMHC)は月次データは「変動しやすい」と述べている。

-- カナダ住宅金融公社(CMHC)は金曜日、カナダ全土における3月の住宅着工件数(季節調整済み年率換算)が235,852戸となり、2月の250,961戸から6%減少したと発表した。 3月の着工件数は、MUFGが発表した258,000戸という予測値を下回った。 「3月の住宅着工件数は、住宅建設の勢いが引き続き鈍化していることを示しており、CMHCの住宅市場見通しとほぼ一致している。実際の着工件数は前年同期比で増加しているものの、これは主に昨年第1四半期の建設活動が極めて低水準だったことを反映している」と、CMHCのチーフエコノミスト兼住宅市場分析担当上級副社長のマチュー・ラバージ氏は述べた。 「月間の住宅着工件数は変動が大きく、建設業者や開発業者が現場で経験している状況と照らし合わせるのは難しい。」 その他の注目すべき点として、3月の住宅着工件数の6ヶ月間の推移は低下し、2.9%減の248,378戸となりました。この推移指標は、カナダ全土の住宅着工件数(季節調整済み年率換算)の6ヶ月移動平均です。 人口1万人以上の都市圏における実際の住宅着工件数は前年同月比10%増となり、3月は16,398戸を記録しました(2025年3月は14,935戸)。年初からの累計は49,206戸で、2025年の同時期と比べて9%増加しています。これは、ブリティッシュコロンビア州、オンタリオ州、ケベック州で年初の着工件数が増加したことが主な要因です。
